In Wanda Lloyd/Wanda S. Lloyd, author | journalist's memoir #ComingFullCircle, I was pleasantly surprised to see I was mentioned on page 257 along with Howard University schoolmate, author Isabel Wilkerson.

Now, only one of the men in this photograph is still alive, my hero Andrew Young. But they all outlived both their friend, Martin Luther King, Jr., and their enemy, Jim Crow.

Honored to have photographed and interviewed these two civil rights heroes on several occasions for my forthcoming book, LEGENDS OF OUR LIFETIME (vol. 1). The words “icon” and “legend” describe these two men.

So I’m watching this panel and it’s good. Lloyd says 90 percent of Pulitzer prize winners are white, while many JOC are not put in positions where they can do the work that will win these awards.
