Yesterday, Minister for Housing James Browne TD addressed local authority CEOs, heads of housing & heads of planning at a national housing summit. He convened the summit to emphasise to local authority leaders the need to use every lever to address our housing challenges.

There’s a serious Fianna Fáil team here in #Galway. Really important part of my visit to the region was to discuss issues across city and county, with particular focus on the delivery of homes.

Today, I formally launched Galway City Council and Tuath Housing’s first ever Cost Rental homes in Galway at Claí Mór. ✅ 102-home Cost Rental and social home development Built by Galway-based OCC, Claí Mór provides 28 Cost Rental homes alongside 74 CAS and CALF-funded social homes

We need a step up in delivery, and I am confident we can do it. Great to open a 102 home cost rental and social development in Claí Mór Galway- Galway’s first cost rental. Galway City Council

Bhí ríméad orm bualadh le hionadaithe ó ghrúpaí abhcóideachta tithíochta, Bánú & Tintéan, le mo chomhghleacaí, an tAire Tithíochta @jamesbrownetd & Deputy John Connolly í Roinn na Gaeltachta. Bhí an chruinniú an-úsáideach agus táim ag tnúth le tuilleadh rannpháirtíochta amach anseo.

Good to join the Taoiseach Micheál Martin for the North-South Ministerial Council in Armagh today. Great to connect again with Joint Secretaries Hilary Reilly (IE) and Richard Hill (NI) Vital for us to come together on key issues across the island.

A wonderful day for #Gorey This evening saw the official opening of Pairc Aonaigh at Wexford Street, Gorey by Housing Minister, James Browne TD and Council Chair, Cllr Pip Breen. It is a really beautifully designed social housing development comprising 30 homes.
