When I was taking the Shenzhen Metro at night, at Futian looking across the platform, I noticed some large boxes around the business class car of the opposing train. I stepped out to take a look and saw Shenzhen Metro is piloting delivering express parcels. A 🧵of what I saw.

Big news: overseas cards (debit cards, too) can be used directly on the Beijing Subway at barriers. They take CNY 11 first, then cancel that at exit, replacing it with the actual amount due. Works on Apple Pay + contactless cards, Visa + MasterCard. Aaron Busch Asian Train Guide

Nice one Bee Network. This is how you make a good bus map! 👉All routes have stated minimum frequencies 👉Focuses on spatial orientation rather than aligned with roads (which would clutter it) 👉Shows interchanges with other modes with similar frequencies. #Manchester #Bus

At Northern, we’re improving where, when and how we present our information to you. We serve over 500 stations so it’s a careful job to show where our trains run, so we have a new map, alongside existing ones, to help show you the way. 👉 northernrailway.co.uk/travel/network…
