Very excited to see our study on a case of ALL to AML switch after CAR-T treatment out in Nature Cancer! Using deep genome sequencing, we show the cancer switched cell types to escape therapy. Broad Institute Wellcome Sanger Institute Gad Getz Laboratory Thread below 🧵 nature.com/articles/s4301…

Two weeks ago, I started a new position as a research fellow at UCL Cancer Institute in the group of @MariamJHanjani. I was welcomed by a very talented team and introduced to their fantastic projects. I am looking forward to working in and contributing to this collaborative environment.

We are recruiting a computational PhD student for quantitative work in the field of extrachromosomal circular DNA together with our collaborator Anton Henssen as part of a new CRC in Neuroblastoma #crc1588 . For details and how to apply see here: iccb-cologne.org/groups/schwarz… please rt

Happy to report that Refphase, our method for phasing of copy-number alterations and for detection of parallel evolution and MSAI in cancer, is now finally out: doi.org/10.1371/journa… Many thanks to Nicholas McGranahan Charles Swanton Tom Watkins Emma Colliver Matt Huska !

Next up is Mariam Jamal-Hanjani from UCL Cancer Institute presenting, Insights into lung cancer evolution and metastasis in TRACERx and PEACE Charles Swanton #AACREvol23

I am excited to announce the publication of our manuscript out today, with Philippe Gui, Charles Swanton, Swanton Lab, Bivona Lab, @Downwardlab, and The Harris Lab! 🧵 1/15 nature.com/articles/s4158…

Happy to share this work by Fabian and Heathcliff Dorado Garcia in our group describing the preclinical activity of Elimusertib, an ATR inhibitor, in childhood cancer models. Out in Molecular Cancer Therapeutics 👇👇🔥🔥 aacrjournals.org/mct/article/do…

It is excited to announce that our work is online now😊 Inspired by the concept of collateral lethality from Dr. Ron DePinho , we here describe a new approach to uncover therapeutic vulnerabilites in cancers with passenger gene coamplifications.

The Blavatnik Awards made a little video about our lab and the work we do: youtube.com/watch?v=-o43Bf… UCL Cancer Institute CRUKCOLcentre CRUK Lung Centre

Excited to see our paper on the co-evolution of lung cancers and tumour microenvironments out today in Cancer Discovery! A huge thank you to all co-authors for their mentorship over my PhD. It has been a really rich project to work on. 😃👩💻👩🔬🧬 Check out our tweetorial below!👇🏻 #newpaper

Why do some patients benefit less than others from precision cancer medicine? We are excited to share our paper "Mixed responses to targeted therapy driven by chromosomal instability through p53 dysfunction and genome doubling” out in Nature Communications. nature.com/articles/s4146… 🧵

I am thrilled to share our latest research about reconstructing #ecDNA elements from long-read #nanopore sequencing, now published in Genome Research! Manuscript lnkd.in/ecgpYQah 1/ Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin Max Delbrück Center #ecDNA Cancer Grand Challenges

Together with Charles Swanton, delighted to share that our new tool, MHC Hammer - which can detect different types of HLA disruption - mutation, loss, RNA repression and alt. splicing - is now out in #NatureGenetics and available to use…nature.com/articles/s4158…... 🧵below
