bone We are not smart enough to know the difference between grad student and post-doc level of math, so yeah. Doesn’t mean it won’t be a huge leap forward

Lewis I've had 2k days. several review cycles, confident of reasonably high quality. idk, if I had 10 opus agents working at the same time, 4k would be within grasp β€” but this would probably cost me about $500 per day

working all day, already feeling as if I'm month behind. everybody's got deep and educated opinion on gpt-5, do you people have lives at all

Reply guy 😐 (@golergka) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I didn't learn anything about gpt-5 today. but I learned that if you use zod schema with Vercel ai sdk and it fails, your google model won't be able to recover from that. github.com/vercel/ai/issu…

reading papers in an area you're not familiar with is so frustrating. many such cases (at least I hope 4o isn't gaslighting me about it, but this seems to be right)

ben eric provencher tried that a couple of time with coding agents and their doc systems. they were prolific writers and horrible editors. much more complicated processes are needed to drive them to review old texts, find inconsistencies and so on.

Steve Ruiz if you read closely, in the first answer he doesn't say that you are right. only that a lot of people agree with you. and then it doesn't explain "why it got worse", it explains "why it _might_ taste worse".

Aryeh Kontorovich weird, I noticed doing it more often lately and thought that after 20 years of native level my english was suddenly deteriorating may be I was just subconsciously picking up the change happening around me

jynx the key to low effort job is loving what you do it takes more effort to do a half-assed job for 2 hours at something you are bored with than to put an insanely productive 16 hour workday at something you are excited about
