I like the idea of developers using custom gestures in their apps, but I can’t get over the challenge of teaching them to new users.

Custom gestures that differ in every app just isn’t a good user experience, as it makes interactions not easily discoverable.

The biggest upgrade from the lcd to oled steam deck isn’t even the screen, it’s the complete absence of system ui stutter, and the speed at which the os recovers from sleep.

Playing modded fallout tale of two wastelands on this is a dream!

I can’t help but feel that a lot of the growth in the VR industry comes down to gen alpha getting older and Quest 2 getting cheaper.

Older generations just didn’t grow up with VR and don’t have the legs for it.

Why does anyone at meta think that the first thing I want to see when I put on a Quest, is a feed with instagram reels?

Despite these terrible metrics, it's hard to understate how exciting it is to build for Vision OS.

So many unique constraints, and early platform woes, but it feels like the future in ways that other XR platforms don't.

Has anyone else noticed themselves getting a bit of queasy discomfort from going back to Quest 3 passthrough after using Vision Pro?

I find the difference in latency makes it significantly less comfortable.

People have messaged me saying the AVP isn’t doing anything new here

AVP is the first device since magic leap one that built a shared space sdk for interactive 3D apps

I think all XR devs should get familiar with the idea of making content for volumes like this. It’s the future

Local floor is now a core part of the spec! Rejoice!

Wild that it’s taken this long for the industry to standardize the idea of recentering.

Totally biased but it’s really nice zoning out to some bomb squad on Vision Pro, in such a beautiful place, while watching Fallout or music videos on YouTube.

Volume games are so nice to multitask with.

My only wish for WWDC is that vision os 2 has half the input latency.

Such a great platform marred by abysmally slow hand tracking.

Took this right before the eclipse. Such a strange experience having the world darken right before the sun goes out.

Nice! Mixing a few samples, I obtained hand-tracking interactions in AR and plane detection on the Meta Quest 3 using AR Foundation and XR Interaction Toolkit in .

Big congrats to the Unity team for the impressive work it did on these tools!
