Visited Pendon Museum today. What an experience! The sheer extent of the modelled scenes and attention to detail is phenomenal. Even if you are not interested in model railways, you will still be blown away by the displays.

VE day display at Chappel and Wakes Colne station which played a pivotal role in the war keeping the airfields fuelled. The fuel dumps were in Station Road. The military personnel and armaments were carried by train. The station adopters wanted to remember the Anniversary.

Happy Birthday #Felixstowe Line, which opened 148 years ago 1 May 1877! Today it has an hourly passenger service 7 days a week and 40+ container trains each direction each day. All stations are adopted by volunteers who've created lovely gardens/tend to the platform flower tubs.
