My thoughts on Stephen A Smith’s statement about Memphis:

Today was the first "Tigers on Tour" in Lakeland. During the event AD Ed Scott said the school has raised $201 million of the $226 million needed for the renovations at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Memphis Football Coach Ryan Silverfield said 1 year from now will be special.

At the "Tigers on Tour" in Lakeland today Memphis Head Basketball Coach Penny Hardaway said he feels like this team is flying a little under the radar compared to years past. "I do get that sense, but it doesn't matter... I just need a team that is going to run through walls"

In a press conference today U of M Athletic Director Dr. Ed Scott talked about conference realignment. He said he's had discussions with Pac-12 commissioner Teresa Gould but stressed his ultimate goal is getting Memphis into a power 4. Action News 5
