Abuse in swimming clubs has been brought to national attention in a new BBC Panorama documentary which airs today on BBC One. Partner Dino Nocivelli contributed to the programme, building on his legal work representing survivors of abuse in swimming. leighdaylaw.info/4dukMCs

BBC Panorama Swim England Tanni Grey-Thompson Swimming has the highest rate of EDs in sport. EDs have highest rate of mortality in mental health issues. Any decent coach would know this & would be actively ensuring swimmers welfare in this area. Especially as these "swimmers" are children.Swim England has a duty of care

Swim England One of your staff has just made weak non-apology to young people trained by Jon Rudd. There is no doubt these young people have been abused by Swim England, & your staff are implying the fault is theirs. Have you nothing to say to these young people?

BBC Panorama BBC iPlayer BBC One Just the tip of the iceberg sadly

GCTN Swim England Andy Salmon ?? Let's not pretend this is just about John Rudd either check ALL the complaints raised to Swim England (by children) to fully understand the breadth of this. Swim England had NO process for managing complaints!

A massive thanks to Ruta Meilutyte Cassandra Patten Phoebe Lenderyou Rebecca Adlington & Abby for having the bravery to speak publicly on this & give a voice to so many children impacted by this! Swim England @bbcsport BBC Panorama Andy Salmon bbc.com/news/articles/…

bbc.com/news/articles/… "Swim_England told the BBC it had asked the school to resolve the issues." Wait aren't Swim England the governing body with a duty of care? 🤔 And weren't those affected paying Swim England members? BBC Panorama

BBC Panorama But what has happened to those who facilitated this regime? Plus the other supposedly ‘top coaches’ who followed the ‘it must work, let’s do it to!’ Path? Andy Salmon is not to blame, he took over this role and is now dealing with the mess that’s been left.

Cassandra Patten Hi Cassandra can I praise you on your BBC Panorama appearance it takes great courage to talk about what you went through my thoughts are with you and the others affected❤️❤️🥇🥇🇬🇧🏴🫂🫂
