Which are the key relationships that you need to reset? It might be with a senior stake holder, a peer or even a customer. Try to reset your terms of engagement with each other. Ask your colleagues what they need from you, and explain what you might need from them.

High performing teams take it in turns to lead. Good teammates step forward when they are feeling strong, and they tuck in behind trusted colleagues when they don’t. High quality teamship is an amplifier and an accelerator. If you want to go fast, and far, then go together.

If you do nothing else during your first couple of weeks than listen to your customers, it will have been time very well spent. For this kind of customer connect, you don't need all the answers, just some really good questions and a willingness to listen, learn and change.
