On Thursday, we enjoyed fantastic Outdoor Learning CLPL, learning about the practicalities of providing engaging and relevant outdoor experiences, while also developing our team work and den building skills! A huge thanks to P7 and Miss Daly of Airth Primary School for leading us.


Many thanks to Gill Campbell and Christie McAlpine Falkirk Community Mental Health & Wellbeing for an insightful session, helping us to reflect on supports available to help mental health and wellbeing for both our learners in Falkirk and us. At PLC 2, we explored Components of a Lesson, learning together.


Many thanks to Lysa Thomson for delivering an engaging session on the Introduction to Play Pedagogy. This highlighted the many benefits of play and helped us to develop our thinking about planning for play across all stages. @playisthewayFalkirk

Susanne McCafferty Mrs McCafferty delivered a very insightful session on Adverse Childhood Experiences. Many sobering facts shared about what our learners might experience, but finishing on a message of hope; we can be the ones to make a difference. ❤️


Many thanks to Mark Murray HT St Francis Xavier's for delivering an informative and engaging session on high quality assessment. This helped us to reflect on our current practice and identify how these approaches can be implemented to support teaching and learning.


An incredibly inspiring session on UNCRC, encouraging us to embrace the Rights journey each school is on, to help make a difference. We very much appreciated Headteacher Jacqueline McLaughlin sharing Antonine Primary's achievements in embedding the Rights within their community.



We appreciate the valuable input from Louise Amos and JudeDavies on Specific Learning Differences. This allowed us to see the challenges that some of our learners face and strategies that we can put in place to support them.
