I challenge our health equity community to do better

I’m grateful for POC working to undo structural racism like Dr.Leaphart. Thomas Jefferson perpetuated one of biggest genocidal policies of Indigenous people and a legacy of chattel slavery and rape. Yet his name is prevalent. We need folks in these systems breaking them down!

“Find the data, show the data, there is no such thing as alternative facts” ….but for Native people the data genocide being perpetrated effectively limits the “facts”, and that is something we need to talk about! Abigail Echo-Hawk #HEP2024
