Throughout my master’s program, I have been on the lookout for other people articulating experiences about being gay 🏳️‍🌈in science. Now, at the end of my program, I realize- I actually don’t know any (out) lesbian grad students in my department, other than myself. 🧵

Grasses tend to be undervalued but have influenced the trajectory of human history through their domestication as food staples, as well as natural ecosystems worldwide. A new special issue of Science explores the unrecognized value of grass: fcld.ly/bo80dpr
