Still can’t get head around what Ofsted got away with for so long. I challenge anyone to read the thread below and not be absolutely appalled. Ruth, her family, her pupils, her colleagues & community all deserved so much better.

Indeed Frank Norris . It is also of note that current Department for Education trust quality descriptors ‘encourage’ trusts to undertake external peer review. Good trusts doing it already of course.

Indeed Vic Goddard . That’s why Frank Norris Colin Richards and numerous other alternative big listen continue to ‘bang on’. Ofsted is crucial to future inspection and regulation; but the reform needed is deep and wide.
