Our wonderful youth choir from #Newham NewYVC are as one voice about the proposed cuts to BBC Singers, the internationally acclaimed group with which they’ve worked many times as part of BBC outreach in East London #WeAreTheBBCSingers

I have called for a debate in Parliament on the appalling decision to axe BBC Singers & cut 20% of BBC Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, BBC Concert Orchestra & BBC Philharmonic Orchestra jobs. This will have devastating consequences for the musicians affected & for the sector Now is the time to be speaking up for classical music.
