Enjoyed listening to this whilst breaking in the new running shoes this morning. So much of it resonated with the great work being done by our phonics leader @soph2931 at Ryarsh Primary School

Really enjoyed speaking to Kate Jones yesterday. Some great pointers to help us progress our use of retrieval across our curriculum at Ryarsh Primary School . Thank you for being so kind with your time!

Shout out to Matt Petch today! For World Book Day UK 📚 yesterday, all of our children created their own book inspired t-shirts. An incredibly inclusive & creative way to celebrate reading.

It’s been a labour of love but our library is so close to being ready to open to children. Amazing to think that this room was used as a storage room 12 months ago.

We’ve just dived into this at a staff learning session today. Not many trilogies spring to mind where the third is the best of the set but Tom Sherrington & oliver caviglioli might just have pulled it out the bag!

We have been using MCQs from reception to year 6 this term at Ryarsh Primary School. It’s had a huge impact on whole class feedback, retrieval grids and plenary sessions. Would highly recommend the new book from Kate Jones to find out more about MCQs

I have ❤️ working with this primary school. The teachers, senior leaders and general community feel of the school is lovely. (Plus the stuff they have done on cognitive science is impressive). Would strongly recommend applying for anyone looking for a job ⤵️

As someone that has been to many TOM MCRAE gigs and many Millwall fixtures (possibly a unique middle ground of this Venn diagram), I can attest that both experiences share many similarities.

What a fantastic discussion with the wonderful Zach Groshell. Really fascinating to talk about various issues around cognitive load. Can't wait to take some ideas into the next term Ryarsh Primary School
