Spend less time on "two-way door" decisions than "trapdoors." If the decision is reversible, the cost of analysis paralysis is often worse than making the wrong decision and reverting. (Originally a model from Amazon.) -- Kevin Graham at MicroConf

Longer term plans (annual, etc) have 200-800% higher LTV than month-to-month SaaS plans. You should ask people to upgrade including after the initial signup. Patrick Campbell at MicroConf Emails to nudge people here were unreasonably effective at many of my consulting clients.

One tactic that repeatably worked, particularly for SMB-facing B2B SaaS: get in touch in mid December and offer a tax writeoff for the current year if they pre-purchase services for the next 12 months. (Works for cash basis businesses, etc.)

Nothing better than SaaS. I need to seriously build another one, this has been going for 4 years now. Revenue has gone up 30% every year. It’s choppy AF short term but stable long term. Literally spend 1 hour per month on this. Does ~$22k/mo.

it's almost always men who take this position. if your hosts take the time, money, and effort to host a party and request you dress a certain way, you either adhere to the dress code or not go to the party. *especially* if it's a wedding. that's their special day, not yours.

Elon Musk In your case certainly. You have lots of fans you don't know exist. But you can prove it in the general case by thinking about all the people you care about (you wish them well and would be sad if something bad happened to them) who don't consciously realize it.
