Pain Twitter: Anyone hear of Auvelity, or a combo of generic bupropion & dextromethorphan, being used to treat #fibromyalgia, nerve pain or other chronic pain? My neuro said it works like a long acting low dose ketamine on pain receptors. #pain #painmanagement #NEISvoid

If you are a Hill reporter and your main hang-up is that you haven't personally seen the research and/or it's paywalled (only one of these papers actually is), I will send you PDFs with the key findings highlighted.

Just reupping my piece on work requirements: the evidence that shows they often push people off of their benefits without increasing employment/income, and looking into why childless adults are often targeted in discussions of greater work requirements.

Succession Finale: Shiv discovers Roman is trying to seduce Mattson. She poisons Roman, then kills herself. Mattson confesses he had Kendall assassinated. Tom says to Frank “The weight of this sad time we must obey.” We last see Connor exiting the screen pursued by a bear.

Many disabled people are considered “able-bodied” for purposes of SNAP work requirements until they get their SSDI approved. Most people wait years to get approved for social security disability. Work requirements keep disabled people from accessing food snaps.

For a The New York Times story, I'm looking to speak with disabled workers about their experiences requesting accommodations. What are the workplace barriers to accessibility? What could be better? My DMs are open (for the first time in years!) or email [email protected]. Thank you!

Amazing job alert: the Massachusetts Health Connector is hiring a Director of Policy: mahealthconnector.org/director-of-po… I’ve been extremely fortunate to collaborate with folks at the Connector on policy-relevant research, and you couldn’t ask for better, more dedicated colleagues

This graph is not going the way one would expect if COVID was over, but it is going the way one would expect if few are masking anymore, including health providers, while COVID is still circulating in the population.

I’m my room on day 7 of isolation and wondering if I’m wheezing from COVID or the wildfire smoke. I’m leaning towards wildfire smoke since this is the first day my chest has felt like this and it reminds me of my old asthma days.

I’m planning to leave this place in the next few days. I don’t want to lose the wonderful communities that I have, but I he is continues to promote hate.

possibly a weird thing to be happy about, but I just had an amazing, informative doctor's appointment that was totally free (thanks Obama)

As an Indigenous woman and an attorney, I am used to heartbreak. We wake up to fight in the “iron-cold” of the law every day, knowing the scales rarely tip in our favor. But today, in this moment, we celebrate the #SCOTUS decision in Brackeen v. Haaland that upholds #ICWA. 🧵

I remember going to high holiday services at a nearby university while growing up because our synagogue was burned down in an antisemitic act of hate.
