The joy of victory: Whitney Athletics beat Granite Bay 61-56 to win CIF Sac-Joaquin Section D2 honors under coach Nick French. Ely Wills scored 15 and Elijah Samdahl and Matt Schroeder had 11 each. The Whitney Girls Bball won earlier tonight making the Rocklin campus a place of champions.
