Back at it this week after some fresh paint and planned repairs on the digger. Also got the irrigation going on the lawn thismorning, might be a bit overkill though!!

Big thanks to Rob Marchbank & Fairhaven Golf Club. First time for me taking on two jobs at the same time. Ian doing a great job on tee and path construction at fairhaven, working closely with Rob while I'm busy elsewhere. Great teamwork what it's all about going forwards!

Great to get the first job ticked off the list for this year West Lancs Golf Club new grass paths and new tee on the 3rd. Alot gone into this, new main and irrigation, also alot of material to make it all work in a tight area. Big push by West Lancs GC Greens getting the turf down aswel!

Good site visit yesterday to see Ian on our job Fairhaven Golf Club New tees, grass path and mounding coming along great. Job finished West Lancs Golf Club and rootzone all screened ready for the next phase in November. Tha you for the work as always!

Continuing the program of works Aintree Golf Centre with AintreeGolfGreens mounding areas which have been mulched for us last winter by Coxleys. Bunker alterations also on the 8th fairway. Looks much better all ready for fescue seeding!

All done on the 8th hole Aintree Golf Centre Tee mounding, fairway mounding with new bunker and green surround mounding and new bunker. Greenside bunker changed to a swale, all the old bunkers on this hole now gone.

……. development plan started with some impressive changes just on the 3rd hole alone! More to come over the winter programme taking us into 2026 which is going to be a fantastic year for golf on the links, with the Amateur, Final Qualifying & the Open Championship up the road.

On the iconic 9th hole St Annes Old LinksGC taking out the last section of shale and creating a wider grass path. Shale all gone and dunes reshaped to gain more width. Ready for irrigation and rootzone next week with St Annes Old Links

Green surround and bunkers on the 1st Ormskirk Golf Club finished. Drainage installed, levels raised considerably and totally reshaped to allow wider surround cuts and a manageable playable area in winter! Many thanks for the work as always.

Great start on the 7th Formby Golf Club only green gone and new green formed. Big section of fairway raised by 2 feet. Fairway widening to finish on the higher section and dunes to tie in next.

7th hole project finished Formby Golf Club, big thankyou to the club, Joe Barnes and his team. Sam Cooper & joemcd_golf it was great to work with you all! Green totally rebuilt, lower fairway raised +2ft, upper fairway widened and new bunkers.

Exciting progress on a fantastic project by the club, with outstanding vision from joemcd_golf and Sam Cooper of McDonnell & Cooper. The greens team are doing an incredible job with the turfing and final touches following brilliant shaping work as always by Chris Cardinal 👏

Ian got started this week up Fleetwood Golf Club We've screened 200 tonnes of material to make some nice rootzone for extending and levelling some tees.

Making the most of the dry days this week to move material West Lancs Golf Club, 4th green surround stripped and extended a further 3/4 yards. Now onto the 2nd with West Lancs GC Greens on the bunkers 👌
