Carolina Community Academy most certainly wouldn't be where we are today without the UNC Chapel Hill #OperationalExcellence team. They were an integral part of the school start up, and we're so appreciative for everything they did to get us up and running!

Today is the 1st day of our 2nd summer. Carolina Community Academy staff are simultaneously closing out the 22-23 school year & planning ahead for 23-24. Why? Because CCA is proud to work with & on behalf of the youth of Roxboro, NC. #BetterTogether #ItsBetterInPerson

Today, Carolina Community Academy students returned to #UNC’s campus and embarked on an enriching field trip to Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, delving deeper into the world of science learning and exploration. 🔭🌟

Students experienced the wonders of science, including an experimental show of Science Live! and a captivating planetarium show that explored our universe. Everyone returned to Peabody Hall for lunch and interacted with members of the UNC School of Education community.

Thanks to Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, students had the opportunity to engage with various disciplines of science through insightful presentations! #PropeltheWorld

CCA will follow the PCS early dismissal at 12:15 pm on Tuesday, January 9.

This will apply to CCA, too. 2-hr delay on Wednesday, January 17.
