Less wind & more sunshine today as temperatures gradually begin to climb. The wind returns late tonight for portions of the Vegas Valley as the breezes look to become more widespread throughout the day Wednesday.

The wind returns today with gusts 25-35 MPH expected. Once the sun sets calmer conditions return with a nice Thursday on tap. We're tracking bigger changes for the weekend with a slight chance of showers with our first round of 70s for 2023.

Calm conditions Thursday before strong wind returns Friday. We pick up a wind advisory 6am Friday until 10pm for gusts up to 50 MPH possible in the Vegas Valley with gusts to 65 MPH for the mountains. Temperatures continue to climb into the 70s

Scattered showers, powerful wind & warmer temperatures will be the main focus today. Showers return between 2 to 6 pm with wind gusts up to 50 MPH possible up until 10pm. Drier air will build in for the remainder of the weekend.

Tracking another storm moving across the west that will bring increasing chances for scattered showers, mountain snow, strong wind & another round of cold temps.

Scattered showers, mountain snow & strong wind return today! Best opportunity for showers will be between noon and 6pm. Showers will be scattered & not everyone will see rain but you will feel the wind with gusts 45 to 50 MPH possible.

Scattered showers will be back in the mix today! Best time for showers to roll though will be between noon and 8pm. Wind speeds stay gusty at times 20-30 MPH with more mountain snow on the way.

Strong wind and colder temps have returned after a beautiful weekend. A Wind Advisory is in effect until 5am Tuesday for gusts to 50 MPH with even stronger wind gusts to 75 MPH for our local mountains. High temps will only be in the 50s.

Today we begin a warming trend that will take us through the weekend and into the start of next week. Not only are we talking about our first 80 degree days of the year, but the potential for our first 90 with the potential for record heat.
