It’s clearly impossible for the Terminally Ill Adults Bill to proceed in the face of this level of medical opposition. Would MPs have voted for it at 3rd Reading if they had known this? I doubt it.

The changes are material and remove the specificity I deliberately put into the amendments to ensure the training covered coercive and controlling behaviour, financial abuse AND ensured it was mandatory for those involved in the process.
