Gas companies are gambling on the wholesale energy markets. They deliberately ramped up the prices to bank an Ofgem price rise. They then slammed on the brakes to buy large quantities of wholesale gas on the futures market at collapsing prices. They then bank £bns in profits.

Wholesale gas is FIVE times cheaper today than it was in August. Wholesale gas is 30% cheaper today than before Putin invaded Ukraine. In 16 days Ofgem announce the next energy bill price. Ofgem must cut energy bills now.
