Currently using the #DesignThinking methodology for the first time. A lot of thought has gone into how exactly we will apply it. Tomorrow, the rubber hits the road. The first of many workshops to come. Trying something new in #MentalHealth. Excited and hopeful.

Finished listening to this excellent series on my train ride home yesterday. Of interest to me as a black man with some tech skills & as someone delivering projects exploring inequalities in mental health. Great insight, orientation, and approaches to make inroads #Equality

Amazing two weeks of #coproduction work tackling #inequalities. Last week at the HORIZON adult secure #MentalHealth Provider Collaborative in South Yorkshire. This week workshops with South Asian women as part of the Patient Carer Race Equality Framework #PCREF Really energised.

A wonderful feeling when after years of delivery & endless hours of analysis the work starts to yield data that the project commissioners can get their teeth into - a reward for their faith in doing #coproduction properly & the best thank you to the people who participated

Highlight of the working week has got to be analysing #coprodiction data while listening to Iggy Pop archives on BBC Radio 6 Music - 50's rock n roll and doo-wop have never sounded so damn good!! Can wait til the weekend to have a proper listen to the artists I Shazzamed.

I think the next set of questions about #inequality should be less what inequalities exist & why and more why do these inequalities still persist - what are the challenges in the system that hinder it from organising itself to come up with effective challenges to inequalities?

We are 4 years old today. What a great adventure it has been so far. We thank God for every bit of that. We hold so much hope for a future where we do great work & make a positive difference to the world in ways we are passionate about. We look forward to the adventure ahead.

As someone working with organisations to help them see more clearly the inequalities experienced in their services, this Sunday's piece by Dele Farotimi. A victim of Nigeria really connected - a high level in-a-nutshell analysis of what determines how power operates in a space youtu.be/LBERiXy0GMQ?si…

Our website is live. Building it was't the challenge. The challenge lay in the 5 years it took us to understand what we are about & develop our services. In many ways, that is still ongoing. But we have put in enough work now to say something about what we do. Check us out.

Shout out to @Moo who back in 2020 pledged to support black owned businesses - an ally to #BLM They offered us a range of support, but just starting out we weren't ready to utilise the support. I reached out again recently 4 years later...& they made good on their promise #Kudo

It's a great feeling to solve a problem having immersed yourself in it. The challenge thereafter is what to name the solution you came up with 🤔 A good problem to have, I guess. #Innovation
