This is going to be so much fun! I'm putting the final touches to the 8th movement of Local Mosaics and Graffiti, ready for a performance of the full 40 minutes featuring me and any conference attendees who feel like improvising.

Composers, quick question. Do you include performances of a single movement of a larger work in your list of performances? If the work is modular in nature, does this change things?

I wrote a 'Birthday Backing Track' for my wife. I'm going to be doing more of these for my Music Patron patrons - more info coming soon: soundcloud.com/bencomposer/ka… This piece features, amongst other things, our wedding vows and the sounds of my belly being slapped. Good.
