We need to talk about the connection between #ADHD and shameful body things. Because SO MANY PEOPLE I know with ADHD do or have in the past struggled with body things that are Embarrassing or Shameful. I mean, rotten-teeth, infected-picked-wound, real-bad-yeast-infection stuff.

I fell for the hype. Palia has swept me off my feet. It’s such a beautiful, fun, creative and just over all wonderful game 😍✨

ADHD is like 50% not working, 50% working frantically to make up for the not working part, 50% thinking about the work I should be doing (but not actually working), and 50% not sleeping (but trying to).

Asking me to estimate how long something will take is like asking me how many gumballs are in the jar, but I can’t see the jar.

ADHD is thinking about all the things you have to do, getting stressed about all the things, worrying about the consequences of not doing the things, but still feeling stuck and unable to do any of the things.

PSA: If you can't *choose* to do it, it's not laziness.

I wonder how many people grew up hearing, “you don’t seem to have any problem focusing on video games!” when unable to do homework or chores, never knowing it was because they had ADHD. ✋
