Also speaking at the event David Nutt says he believes as many children may have died from not having access to medical cannabis as those effected by the Bristol Heart Scandal in the early 90s. Drug Science

So many highlights from today at Parliament, but one that stands out has to be hearing from teen #epilepsy advocate Jasper about his friendship with fellow seizure sufferer and gaming mate, Alf He received a huge and well deserved round of applause from MPs

Much of the mess with the current situation is a result of politicians & institutions massively underestimating just how far a mother will go to save their child’s life Imagine what could get done if they harnessed that power rather than trying to contain it?

The government changed the law to allow access to these medicines and the reality is that the policy has failed, the funding is not available to doctors. We are asking them to clarify that pathway so that doctors, when they do want to prescribe, can. bbc.com/news/uk-englan…
