It is the start of #BlackHistoryMonth Embed Black Excellence and knowledge all year long in the curriculum Teach students that Black History didn't start with european enslavement. Research & teach all the greatness that existed on the continent of Africa before colonization

Remember, if a teacher approaches a subject, topic, or activity with the mentality that the task is simply something to be “checked off”, then students will approach that topic with an unengaged mentality. Not something to actually engage in, but rather just another thing to do.
