Ventured into Canterbury town centre to see the Aphra Behn exhibition The Beaney featuring some of her spy letters & a maquette of the sculpture to be unveiled in February 📜🎭

The #AphraConference is in full swing! Had to dash off, but at least I spent a day at the AphraBehnConference2024 - saw some old friends & made some new ones 🙌

And that’s a wrap from me! Heading home after an incredible few days AphraBehnConference2024 brimming with new ideas, revived energy, & an Aphra Behn pendant (that pairs perfectly with Vulgar History Podcast’s Mazarinettes t-shirt). Until next time ✨💫

Excellent panel yesterday on beauty and VD with Dr Katie Aske, Hannah Straw, and Keele English and Creative Writing’s Ceri Fowler 💄🍆 #AphraConference

#AphraConference fascinating plenary from Charlotte Cornell 🌹✍️ "Rooting Aphra: Behn's Kentish Beginnings".

What an end to our wonderful conference. We had director loveday Ingram along with actors Alexandra Gilbreath and Samuel Collings come to discuss The RSC 2016 The Rover by Aphra Behn with readings of some epic scenes.

A very special visit today by #aphraconference delegates and some guest Cantaburians to see Aphra Behn’s grave in Westminster Abbey - we left a stunning wreath and a spare £ coin, so she doesn’t have to worry about those debts again.

Beautiful wreath laying ceremony for Aphra Behn today at Westminster Abbey. What a fantastic way to end #AphraConference! 💐🌸🌻
