We can't legislate away transphobia. Attempting to regulate speech will not change attitudes. The only cure for intolerance is civil discourse and meaningful dialogue across different worldviews.

TERFs will say that they face discrimination while claiming that discrimination against trans women is ok. I'm not in favor of de-platforming, but why have they decided that their political views make them deserve stronger anti-discrimination protections than trans people?

People who say things like this think writing an academic article in the humanities is like writing a longer version of a high school book report.

Redrawing congressional maps to guarantee one-party rule is the same thing as establishing a single-party system with the veneer of democracy covering up this new unsavory reality.
