Our 2022 LGBTQ+ Scientist of the Year is Dr. Jane Rigby, an astrophysicist at the NASA Goddard Flight Center & the Operations Project Scientist for the Webb Space Telescope. Rigby develops new techniques to study galaxy evolution, star-forming galaxies, & active galactic nuclei.

First time I've seen one of these special compressed gas cylinder tops. Does anyone know of a demonstration video? I'm especially curious about how to get my cresent wrench on the regulator nut once installed.

Update: U.S. National Science Foundation is making a decision now whether or not to collect LGBTQ+ data on the US STEM workforce. After years of delays, it completed a pilot with n=7,800. There weren’t any issues. The scientific community can’t improve a problem it refuses to measure.nature.com/articles/d4158…
