I haven't gone into my vegetable garden in several days (a few weeks?) thanks to grief. The size of the season's last okra, for shame. On the other hand, I tended to the houseplants and we were all very happy.

In so many private professional conversations lately I am struck by the sheer amount of labor womxn undertake to educate or redirect or sidestep misbehaving violent &/or willfully misread men in prominent positions. Art world, academic world. The wasted energy.

In 2023, my work email inbox will be the equivalent of a laundry basket, sitting unfolded in the corner. Clean, no shame. Leaving this "mess" will lend more time and attention for work that matters. #resolutions #accountability #worklife #aspirations #leavethatlaundrygirl

My grad program invited me to give a first annual alum talk, I was deeply honored. I threaded 10 years of curatorial work w/artists concerned with temporal play and what that does to institutions. Ruanne . And yet my mask is powerful pictured among others ❤️🙏🏼
