It should never have taken nine months for the reality of sex to be restored in the Olympics’ most lethal sport. What happened in Paris last year was a scandal. Finally, boxing wakes up to the fact that women compete with their bodies, not their passports telegraph.co.uk/boxing/2025/05…

The sex screening method that World Boxing will implement (PCR test for SRY) is the same screening method that we showcased in our new animated video. A collaboration with Greg, Emma Hilton, Jon Pike, and Ross Tucker.

A small additional point about the *complete* corruption of the women's boxing at #Paris24 The boxing was a knockout competition. Angela Carini was knocked out by Khelif in the first round. She didn't get close to the medal bouts, so she can't be awarded a medal. We just

Presumably the Committee received an accurate formal pre-briefing on that point? If so, that raises fundamental, serious questions about her capability.

I was fortunate to be able to attend Women & Equalities Select Committee hearing today and hear from the formidable, stoic & thoughtful Bn Falkner. You don't get to see everything on the TV - facial expressions round the table, public gasps, shaking of heads. Top 5 moments 1/n

This is the life of a backbench MP. I stopped writing my speech on #AssistedDyingBill at 3.50am. Nothing has ever been more important to me. Had approx 2.5hrs sleep. Arrived early to be in plenty of time for the votes starting at 9.30am, then sat in the Chamber, having put my...

In November, I expressed my concern that the Assisted Dying Bill could not provide adequate safeguards against abuse and social coercion. I am still not satisfied - and that is why I voted against this legislation.

State assisted suicide passed with a majority of just 23 votes. I voted against. I dont feel that this bill is fit for purpose. A very somber mood for many.

Quite the disappointment for me has been the medical journal editors who have suppressed work in this area. The senior doctors who have libelled and name-called in the process are also culpable.

When I read about the "tickle vs. giggle" case, I can't help think about Orla's future. When will common sense and the crucial protection of women's rights truly outweigh the perceived "feelings" of narcissistic men? This debate is critical. #ProtectGirls #JusticeForWomen
