It's been a masterclass on how not to bowl with a new ball.

Even Jofra Archer hasn't been able to make a difference to this team. Barring the short ball, he doesn't have any other tools to get batsmen out. By bowling short, they've allowed the Indian batsmen to get settled.

Karun Nair is basically the KL Rahul of 2018 who played the entire series just because he was catching everything in the slip cordon. Seeing him getting involved sans any performance looks odd. Duckett, Root and Harry Brook have to play defining innings' tomorrow.

Had India been batting, the openers would've done the same. Didn't understand what Shubman Gill was trying to do there. Should've given typical English wickets to see whether he would've succeeded or not.
