Tonight, we get Kershaw vs Scherzer. Last time that happened in the regular season was back in 2008; however, originally it was supposed to be Maddux vs Randy Johnson Watch this

A mistake I often see: Using too short recovery between intervals for novice or intermediate athletes. With intervals, people often just copy. Or they use some Work: Rest ratio that's well intended but misses the point. Your recovery between intervals is dependent on the

RFK Jr. saying "mitochondria challenge" is a perfect illustration of our time. It sounds sciency. But it's meaningless. It's jargon to create the illusion of knowledge. You see this ALL the time in the pseudo health world. And research shows it works to fool others

Maybe an unpopular take but…stop making teenagers wake up at 5am to go lift/workout before school. Unless they’re asleep by 9pm, I promise you that them getting 8 hours of sleep will be more beneficial for them than some 45 minute workout before school.

What a brutal way to end a season. You’ve got to feel for the Phillies. The Dodgers, meanwhile, survive, advance and have three days off to set their rotation for the NLCS.

Update: It is the fourth inning. Shohei Ohtani has thrown four shutout innings, allowed one hit, struck out six and hit a pair of home runs. The first went 446 feet. The most recent, to give the Dodgers a 4-0 lead, went 469 feet and nearly left the stadium. The best. Period.

Remember when you hear the comparisons of Shohei Ohtani to Babe Ruth that the Babe never once struck out more than 3 batters in a season that he hit 30+ homers. It's true. No one's ever done anything like this before.
