Recognizing an imbalance of history taught in @BPS, a group of Black women led by former The League of Women for Community Service pres. Wilhelmina Crosson began the Aristo Club to teach Black history in 1924. The club held the 1st Negro History Week & hosted pageants, musicals & exhibits thru the 1970s. #WHM
