Did this today - drop-in for local food businesses & entrepreneurs to find out more about Barking and Dagenham Council #goodfoodlbbd and our food education & skills work with Barking & Dagenham College and #sustainablekitchenconsultants (latter also made delicious falafels!). Like that this excellent infographic on the issues of our industrialised food system uses the word ‘nourishment’ to describe how it should be. One of my favourites that goes some way to defining food’s value and power.

Hardworking citizens are clear: they want government to work hard on their behalf for a fairer, healthier and greener Britain.

They know this starts with action on food.
