So far this week it’s been all sorts of fun getting treaters fired up! LumiGEN treated beans from JD Lantz, Keith DeMoss, and Ben Sanberg.

I have come to accept (and be proud) that my 15 year old is now better at fishing than I am. Whenever I get skunked…he keeps reeling them in. We all want our kids to be better than we are. I just didn’t think he would keep taking me to school me already!!

March 2020, I struggled to walk 1 mile. May 2020, I ran a 1/2 marathon. I ran 21 miles this past November in a brutal 6hr trail race (which I am doing again this year). I will run my first marathon this September. Tonight, I ran my first sub 24 minute 5k! Feelin’ great!

Sauder Farms in Tremont this afternoon. Always a great startup with this great group! However, I had been waiting a year for one of Jerry’s burgers! My favorite lunch of the year, for the last 13 years, and I blew it!

13 years and every startup day at Leman Farms I’m wearing multiple layers and still freezing. I enjoy this startup. Kevin is thorough and always ready. Easy peasy.

There are plenty of ways reps screen beans after treating. My favorite design (courtesy of Mr. Rodney Rod) and now it being used at a dozen or so locations. The holes are exact diameter on JD planter seed hoses I believe. The vibrator keeps the seed from choking the hopper.

Thank God for heated warehouses or today would have been a BRUTAL day! Gary Dau was ready and so he is off to a successful start and showing how to get it done! All beans this morning had Lumiderm applied as well! 👍

Glad I was asked by Finley Farms to come help make sure their startup was as smooth as possible (and it was). Running the new L-SF1 Seed Finisher. Certainly is an improvement to Pizazz. Like LumiGEN, way better than any of its lessen competitors on the market.

No Cubs but watching my son play at Busch Stadium tonight makes it the best birthday I could have asked for.
