Getting off the ‘fossil fuel rollercoaster’ 10 nations commit to 100 GW of offshore wind. UK Sec. Miliband: Clean energy protects national interest and "can get the UK off the fossil fuel rollercoaster and give us energy sovereignty and abundance.” euronews.com/green/2026/01/…

Met with the European Commission’s DG Energy last week. Europe can become a clean energy superpower by modernising industry, electrifying processes and boosting efficiency. A clear long-term vision is key for investors. Encouraging signs at the North Sea Summit.

Mrozi, 3GW eksportu, 7GW PV, 3GW onshore. Oszczędzamy surowce na wieczorny szczyt, pewnie pierwsze BME magazynują energię. Polski już nie ma. 😉🖖

UK, new 8.4GW of offshore wind will lower energy costs: had these wind farms been operating over the last year – gas power generation could have been a third (35%) lower, cutting day-ahead wholesale electricity prices by up to £11 per MWh (13%) analysis: eciu.net/media/press-re…

Over the next 18 months we should start to see 8.1 GW of new UK offshore wind produce first power. This will begin to push down gas power generation as these projects ramp up. •Dogger Bank B: 1.2 GW •Dogger Bank C: 1.2 GW •Hornsea 3: 2.9 GW •Sofia: 1.4 GW •East Anglia

These results show once again that clean power is the right choice, with new onshore wind and solar 50% cheaper than building and running new gas. By backing renewables at scale, we’re lowering bills and taking back control of our energy security. theguardian.com/business/2026/…

We’re launching the biggest investment in community energy in British history. Our Local Power Plan will build wealth and power in every corner of the country. Giving communities the chance to take back control of their energy.

For sure! Francja proponuje jednolity rynek energii w Europie z niższymi cenami energii dla przemysłu przed nieformalnym spotkaniem Rady Europejskiej. Proponuje wspólne podejście do finansowania projektów jądrowych. Polska z pewnością poprze taki pomysł.
