Julie and Ryan delivered a training session to the team at the Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Service (Hywel Dda UHB Specialist CAMHS) in Carmarthen this morning. It was wonderful to meet them and talk about how parental imprisonment affects children. #strengtheningfamilies

Our Director, Corin, visited Dublin last week to talk about the IW service and methodology with the Irish Prison and Probation Service. Thank you to St Stephen's Green Trust for hosting.

Last week, we held our first Children's Showcase Event Her Majesty's Prison Five Wells. 3 children were accompanied by their teachers into the prison where they were able to share their school work with dad. There were smiles all around and the next event is already being planned!

This is such a lovely quote from a child supported through our School Zone service. Schools come into the prison and share the work of the children with their fathers, which helps breakdown misconceptions and helps families overcome barriers - including shame and guilt.
