Andale captures their 3rd straight state 3A title as they defeat Frontenac 53-0. Dylan Schmidt is 51-2 in as the head coach. He has won 38 consecutive games. The Indians closest 3A post season game in last three years is a win by 20 points in last yrs title game. #sportsinkansas

It was supposed to be a reloading season at Andale Athletics this season. Then Andale Football went out and had its most dominant season yet with its best O (53.4 ppg) and best D (5.2 ppg) ever capped by 53-0 win in title game. No one touching Andale. kansas.com/sports/varsity…

Andale just beat Nickerson 108-0 in a high school football game. They ran out of room on the scoreboard, so it just showed 0-0 by the end. That’s 43 wins in a row for Andale football, an absolute machine under Dylan Schmidt in search of a 4th straight state title.

Andale coach: "It was a tough game to be apart of, it really was." Nickerson coach: "It's hard losing like that, but I thought (Andale) handled it as well as they could have. They put their young guys in & their young guys executed better than our old guys. No hard feelings."
