Dr. Denice Honaker's Global Classroom project, which began in the Fall of 2023, came full circle this month when she was able to visit the teachers and students at the Teacher Training College in Rwanda. The project was a positive learning experience for everyone involved!

We're proud of our Outstanding Student Teachers (Paige Hampton and Mikaela Woods) who were honored today in Indianapolis. Adam Scott, Jane Lamb, Terri Lane, and Lisa Noble were instrumental in supporting Paige and Mikaela in their journey!

Paraprofessionals are an often overlooked (but essential) part of K-12 education. IU East has a program designed to help "parapros" earn a license while continuing their work in school. Below is information about a zoom session and an on campus meeting coming up in November.
