FYI: Rockstar did not develop Red Dead Redemption for Switch and the PS4 version. It's developed by Double Eleven Studios This studio is notably known to develop titles behind Fallout 76, Minecraft Dungeons and Rust Console Edition.

I must admit, I feel a bit disappointed about the announcement of Red Dead Redemption not being a remake but just a port. However, I'm still excited to buy it, finally getting the chance to experience the game.

Losing my mind at Rockstar claiming this RDR1 PS4 "conversion" is for modern systems, when the PS4 literally came out only a couple of years after RDR1 itself, it's a decade old system, it's okay to support it but SURELY you'd make a native version for the actual modern systems?

Red dead redemption, what we wanted: - Remake, the map is in rdr 2 already - 60 fps - Dualsene features - Only current gen version (Ps5, Xbox series, good PC) - The ultimate version What we GOT: - a 30 fps port - no 60 fps - no remake or remaster - Rockstar not caring ☹️

Gaming Community is not happy with RDR1's "modern systems conversion", Rockstar on Twitter is trending with almost solely negative tweets, Trailer's dislikes have outpaced likes by a ton, Such an avoidable mess 🤦‍♂️
