At some point in your career, being liked and respected will equally be as important as how skilled you are. Do not, I repeat DO NOT turn down invitations to socialize with your peers and superiors. Happy hour? Be there. Chilling by the pool? Be there. The game is the game.

This has been the most vulnerable I’ve been in life and it’s been a super power. Cuz like I’m presenting me 100%. So the people that are drawn to me and those I’m drawn to are the people that’s for me. And it’s been just that simple. Life is really good.

one thing i do miss societally, is the yearning to be more interesting. to be a witty conversationalist. people used to want that for themselves more. it’s something i still want for myself. to read more. watch more movies. listen to more music. to dazzle people with my words.
