Thank you Britt for speaking to Parliamentarians today about the role children's hospices play in your family life and why the CH Grant is so crucial.

Really significant report shows nearly 25% increase in number of children with life limiting conditions in Wales in the last decade. Many living with greater medical complexity. Big challenge for government, health boards and providers. Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children's Hospices Lorna Fraser

Thank you Giles Sheldrick for shining a light on the importance of children's hospice funding. Vital that the £25 million grant not only continues but is also directly distributed by NHS England 👇👇👇

I first saw blur when I was 20. They were magnificent. Seen them many times since and they have been magnificent. But last night at Wembley might be the most magnificent yet. Brilliant.

First swim in Britain's oldest lido Cleveland Pools. And it is amazing. Built in 1815. Closed for nearly 40 years. Beautifully restored. A testament to what can happen with passionate volunteers, engaged community and heritage funding. Thank you to all who made it happen 🙌

Been off twitter for a bit, hence the delay. But can think of fewer more deserved recipients than the fabulous Kate Lee . Many congratulations.

Just caught up on a beautiful and moving Desert Island Discs with Jamie Dornan. As a teenager who lost their mum, so much resonated. The grief, the guilt at not remembering, the love of family. Great music choices. And Brilliantly handled too Lauren Laverne.

Thank you BBC Radio 5 Live for having me on to discuss energy costs for families of medically complex children. Cruel reality that they face massive bills to run equipment which keeps their children alive. Need Gov to look again at social tariffs to help families in need.

🆕Today's #Budget24 from HM Treasury provides no clarity on future funding for seriously ill children. For them, time is short – and they needed urgent action now. Read our reaction from our chief executive Andrew Fletcher 👉togetherforshortlives.org.uk/sustainably-fu…

A great week at Together for Short Lives – an APPG at Westminster and the chance to meet an incredible family who is joining our new #ShortLivesCantWait campaign to end the postcode lottery of care in this country. bit.ly/496utmG

"It's not acceptable that we're relying on charitable donations to fund this lifeline crucial care." We were in Parliament today giving evidence about children's hospice funding to MPs because #ShortLivesCantWait - support our campaign now: togetherforshortlives.org.uk/campaign/short…

I'm a bit floored by the news that Liz has died. A true champion of nursing and midwifery and always a source of wise counsel, challenge and support. She was great company too, witty, charming, warm and compassionate. Hard to believe such vibrancy has gone.
