So Piers Morgan thinks that to tackle our generation’s suicide and mental health crisis, people should just “toughen up a bit”. We ask Piers to invite fellow young people to his show and hear why we’re *actually* experiencing this crisis. What do you say, Piers? #mentalhealth

Wouldn’t it be great if older mental health campaigners, the press and mainstream charities didn’t always speak “on behalf” of our mental health and instead let us speak for ourselves? They might be surprised to find that there are more to our experiences than their narrative.

YouTube why are you censoring my videos? young people struggle with self harm and my video was talking about not being ashamed of your scars. THIS IS WHY TALKING MENTAL HEALTH IS SO HARD - you’re constantly censored and pushed back. You’re adding to the stigma !!

Why is Instagram more interested in updates that line up the pockets of corporations rather than making updates that could literally SAVE LIVES? The censorship of young people - survivors, mental health advocates and marginalised groups - continues.

Today, Instagram has shown that it will continue to attack and silence the mental health community. They have hidden posts that use the hashtag #bpd and are shadow-banning mental health influencers and pages that promote healthy messages and solidarity (including our own).

So,ITV this happened almost two years ago, why has nothing changed on #goodmorningbritain when it comes to conversations around mental health and suicide? happiful.com/calls-for-good…

We would like to add that Good Morning Britain did nothing to challenge misleading, stigmatising rhetoric surrounding mental health and suicide, nor did Piers Morgan ever provide fellow young people the right to respond. #HarryandMeghan

How does Instagram, owned by Facebook, claim not to have any enough staff to review posts containing sexual violence against marginalised groups? The same Instagram whose review team deletes mental health recovery accounts and posts from marginalised groups, without dialogue?
