Scott College is the first school in England to pilot Pearson's Online Mock Assessments. Our year 10 & 11 students completed their GCSE mock papers in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and History, providing positive feedback with one student stating “this must be the future of exams”.

Well done to Year 10 student Harrison for raising almost £10,000 for two causes, the Royal Navy Charity and Bristol Children’s Hospital's Grand Appeal. Harrison raised the money when he took part in the Portsmouth - Plymouth trek with his dad and a friend earlier this year 👏👏👏

Our Year 11 and Year 9 bubbles were looking very festive and fabulous today, #ChristmasJumperDay. Our Year 10s were also sparkly and Christmassy, but were a bit camera shy. However, they all did their bit in wearing their Christmas jumpers to raise money for St Luke's Hospice Plymouth :-)

Our Year 9 students are learning to use Google Meets for their live lessons in January. They have been using their Chromebook computers to log into live lessons with their normal teachers. We will have live online lessons for Years 9 & 10 for a week at the start of the New Year.

Former Scott College students Jack and Trixton were on duty at Exeter Chiefs Rugby this weekend. They are currently studying paramedic science at Plymouth University and were in the medical support team at the Chiefs v Sale Sharks women's match. What a fantastic opportunity!

Our year 10 & 11 students who are studying French have been spreading some festive cheer by answering a request for letters from their Canadian pen pals. The students have written letters in French to older people in a residence in Quebec to wish them a Happy Christmas 🎄😀

Head of Year 9 Mr Morris joined 9.7 maths lesson this morning to let them know that they have beaten Year 10 and 11 with 100% attendance in their online maths and English lessons this morning! Thank you to Miss Fisher for letting us join her great maths lesson.👏👏👏

Our peripatetic music lessons took place this week with students keen to carry on learning their instruments, including saxophone, piano, flute, guitar and music technology. Miss Jones said: “I’m super proud of them for continuing to do their best in their music lessons.”🎵🎹🎸🎷
