Dear trainees everywhere, PSA - drop humbly, respected, grateful, esteemed etc from your emails to professors. These are colonial hangover words that have no place in Science or Society today! Use Hello/Dear & sign off with thanks/regards - groveling of any kind is a strict ❌❌
