I ran my first 8th grade track meet of the season. I got an 8:41 for the 2400, breaking the school record as well as a PR and placing 1st. My 1600 did not go as planned with a 6:08 (we didn’t run it until 9pm and had little sleep and food) but it was a good learning experience.

I ran my second track meet of the season yesterday!! I got 4th with a 9:13 (wanted to conserve energy for an all out mile) and 2nd with a 5:33 for the 1600, breaking the 8th grade SLJH school record .
